Thanks for sharing this. Did this with my daughter this afternoon, asked her to park her cars on the sound that I called out and she loved it!

Most kids associate learning with boredom or frustration, causing them to fall behind and struggle academically.
We may not be able to fix the school system, but we can start by realizing that we are our kids’ first (& most important) teacher. If we don’t teach them how to develop a love of learning outside the classroom and tap into their personal interests, then who will?
This can change the trajectory of their lives. Don’t let the brokenness of the school system determine your child’s future. It’s time we do something to help our kids become the individuals they were made to be and look at learning through a new lens.

You can either go through the videos as designed by watching one per day for 7 days OR you can set aside approximately 30 minutes total and complete ALL 7 quick tips in one sitting. The choice is yours!
These 7 quick tips were designed by a busy parent for a busy parent, so I was mindful of the limited time you have. Each video is very brief and practical so you can use the concept right away with your kids.
The topics include how learning begins with connection, scheduling kid time into your calendar, specific math activities, my favorite reading activities at home, easy learning games you can do with your kids with toys you already own, how interest-led learning is a game changer, how to do a family morning meeting, and a bonus that will help you mentally get through those hard parenting days (aka every day).
Yes! You are their most important teacher. You know your kids better than any teacher will. I encourage all parents to set aside time in their calendar for fun learning activities at home to support what their kids are learning in school. This personalized attention will help them learn and grow exponentially.
Yes! You can use these play-based activities alongside the curriculum you already have to reinforce the topics learned in your daily lessons.
My sweet spot is ages 2-10, but most activities can be adjusted for children outside that age range if there are younger or older siblings joining in for the fun!
